COLUMNAR APPLE, COLUMNAR PEAR

In recent years columnar fruit plants are increasingly popular and in demand. Columnar fruit trees instead of growing and spreading to the side, only grow in height. Ideal for intensive orcharding, small gardens and urban conditions because of the short branches and therefore allowing the cultivation of a large number of plants per area, and up to 10 000 plants/hectare. Seedlings are planted at a smaller distance from each other and do not take up much space. These trees besides bearing beautiful and tasty fruits, provide also exceptional garden decoration. Most wanted columnar fruit trees are certainly apples and pears, but demand for columnar cherry, cherry, peach and plum is increasingly present.
